Deutsch’s Mil-STD-1760 Aircraft/Store Electrical Interconnection System (AEIS) provides a common interfacing capability for the operation and employment of stores on aircraft, and includes:

  • The electrical interfaces at aircraft store stations, the interface on mission stores, the interface on carriage stores, and the characteristics of umbilical cables.
  • Interrelationships between aircraft and store interfaces.
  • Interrelationships between the interfaces at different store stations on an aircraft.
